A maintenance group needed one lockout language for packaging, utilities, and control cabinets. We grouped the request by energy isolation task, reduced duplicate padlock lines, and separated consumable tags from reusable devices. The final list gave purchasing a direct quote path while keeping EHS in control of procedure wording.
